I was unable to see both of my grandmothers so the information I received was from my parents and what they could remember. When I was home I did turn up some recorded writing on some of my ancestors which helped me to establish a few minor facts. For instance, both the men and women on my father's side of the family were very tall. There was one Great Grandfather who was 6'4" and was noted in and around Worcester for his strength. I also traced my family far back to the Revolutionary war to John Holbrook, the owner of the first grist mill at the famous Sturbridge Village. He also was a man connected with the war its self.

Some of the characteristics which I have inherited are as follows. I have straight, fine, dry hair which is found on my mother's side of my family. I also have the small body which was predominate in my mother's family. I will probably be loosing my hair at the age of 23. My father says it is a receding hair line but it doesn't look that way to me. My mother and father are people of two kinds. I am a little procrastinater just like Dad and also a muscian like my Mother. But mother does not coordinate very well and Dad does. I followed Dad here for I have little trouble in developing a new way to work my body in athletics.

I am far sighted and so is my father and his father was too. I don't know if this is coincidental or not but all the families on both sides have 3 children for the exception of my Dad's parents and their family. This includes my two sisters whom each have 3 children. I wonder if I will only be able to produce just 3. Who knows? On my mother's side there have been many good mathematitions. On Dad's side there are none. It seems that I have quite a lot of trouble with my numbers also. There have been a few artists in the family and I have acquired a little bit of that ability. Going back to my body structure, I have weak ankles and always having trouble with my spraning them. My mother also has weak ankles but whether or not that is the sourse which I received mine I am not to sure.

There have been few diseases in the family. One in particular is diabetes. My sister has had it since the early age of 14 and she is now 34. She will have to take insulin all her life. I can't seem to find any trace of any one having it in my ancestors. May be they had it but didn't know what was wrong, and died. My mother had Rumattic feaver when she was a little girl and has had a weak heart ever since. She has an uncommon blood Type O Rh negative. I have two sisters. One is 34, the other is 31. There is quite a distance between them and myself so I have more or less grown up to be the only child. They are both very strong for girls and are very athletic. My oldest sister looks like my mother and my youngest sister, as I call her, has my father's features. The avererage life span in our family is about 85, quite an old age.

This is my family tree and I am proud of it. I plan to go back further, as far back as was recorded if possible. I do know that there was a Presbyterian Minister in Scotland. I would like to find more about him. All in All I have enjoyed doing this work on heredity, and would like to do more.

• Texture - Straight, Coarse, Oily. Hair started to turn white at age of 60. It is still quite dark. He became bald at age of 23! Oh Boy! I can't wait.
• Beard - Heavy - must be shaven maybe twice a day
• Body Hair - Normal from what he said.

General Body Structure - Heavy, medium size bones, short and stubby fingers, long oval face, nose is straight, ears are fairly large but are close to head.
